CAPTAIN BABOUCARR JALLOW (CEO)
Captain B. J. Jallow is an accomplished maritime leader and the visionary CEO of Africa Synergy Marine Solution Limited. With years of hands-on experience commanding various vessels, he brings deep expertise in container transport, oil and gas logistics, RoRo operations, passenger and ferry services, dry cargo and bulk carrier management, and offshore vessel operations.
Under his leadership, the company continues to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative maritime solutions across Africa and beyond. Supported by a team of skilled professionals — including captains, marine engineers, and logistics experts — Captain Jallow ensures operational excellence and a steadfast commitment to quality service.
Ola Sowemimo (Director)
Ola Sowemimo is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Mango Asset
Management, where he is responsible for a skilled group of investment professionals
providing local and foreign investment and capital-based solutions to Corporate,
Institutional and high-net-worth clients.
He has over 18 years of investment experience in global emerging and frontier markets,
most recently as Chief Investment Officer at Ecobank Asset Management, managing over
$1billion in assets under management.
Additionally, he has experience working for some of the biggest global investment
management firms, such as Amundi, Legg Mason, Citigroup and JP Morgan, where he
concentrated on making investments in banking and non-banking financial institutions
operating in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
Ola earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the
University of Nottingham, UK and an MBA from Imperial College, London. He is a CFA Charter
holder.
